Aya Estate Vineyards

The Seewines project began in 2015 with the purchase of the first vineyards and the bold idea of a few friends who love fine wine and art. The project eventually grew to create Aya Estate, the most modern winery in the Sandanski area, built with understanding and in harmony with the principles of biodynamics and gravity type of winemaking.

Nowadays, the vineyards cover a total area of nearly 700 dka, with the northern vineyard growing mainly white grape varieties - Dimyat, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Petit Manseng and the reds Pamid and Pinot Noir. In the southern vineyard, more emphasis is placed on red grape varieties such as Shiroka Melniska loza, Early Melnik (Melnik 55), Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Sangiovese, but also white grape varieties such as Sandanski Misket, Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne.

Colorito (the colour of life) is an interesting symbolism for the brands: it is a technique by which the artist literally transfers what he sees onto the canvas. The wines of this series are for those who enjoy life - as it is. Ayano (instant beauty) - means "my colour", "my design" (from Japanese) and is derived from the name of the estate. Disegno (the enologist's choice) - carries the meaning of the concept of the creator as the conduit of divine ideas on earth. This is the elegance of the symbiosis between the craftsmanship in the vineyards and the winemaking - wine is magic, mysticism.
